31 Days of Gratitude (August)

31 Days of Gratitude: A Journaling Journey for August

August is here—and with it, a fresh opportunity to slow down, reflect, and tap into the small, beautiful moments that make life meaningful. At A Ballet Education and The Ballet Planner, we’re kicking off a month-long journaling series dedicated to one powerful practice: gratitude.

Whether you’re a seasoned journaler or just getting started, our 31 Days of Gratitude Journal Prompts are here to guide you through a heartwarming journey—one day, one prompt at a time.

Why Gratitude?

Gratitude has a gentle way of shifting our perspective. It helps us focus less on what’s lacking and more on what we already have. It nurtures joy, reduces stress, and sparks creativity—something we all could use a little more of, especially inside of ballet. Journaling allows you to pause, reflect, and turn simple thoughts into meaningful moments. Take five minutes out of your day to reflect on yourself, and not the stress of ballet.

How It Works

Each day in August, we have created a prompt around gratitude. These prompts are easy to follow and designed to fit into even the busiest schedule.

You can find the daily prompts on:

Make It Yours

Gratitude journaling doesn’t have to be perfect. Scribble your thoughts in a notebook, decorate your pages with stickers, or pair your journaling with a warm cup of tea, or even just a quick story post on social media.

To make this experience a little bit more ballet, we’ve stocked up on:

  • Stickers

  • Lined and dot grid journals

Whether you’re journaling in the quiet of the morning or winding down before bed, we’ve got everything you need to make every page feel special.
